When it comes to packaging and converting adhesives, we offer a complete range of hot melt and water based products to meet the precise requirements of our customers. These products bond a range of boards including recycled and GR.

  

We are able to bond products requiring high heat resistance and frozen food packs needing deep freeze pack security.

Our water based packaging and converting adhesives have excellent stability and consistency on the machine.  And we manufacture these in our Accrington, Lancashire production site.  Our hot melt grades have outstanding thermal stability and can be used on the majority of applicator types.  As a matter of fact, they can be used on wheel, dauber and jetting systems.  We offer hot melts with very long pot life – our unfilled and low temperature products are extremely clean running and with our special formulations, charring is now a thing of the past.  Learn more about our different types of packaging adhesives here.

 

     

Labelling Adhesives

Our extensive labelling portfolio includes adhesives for pick-up and overlap, vertical and roll-through.  In fact we have a solution for all types of bottle, jar and can labelling adhesive requirements.  When it comes to bottle labelling we can advise you on the most suitable grade for bonding to wet glass or cold filled PET substrates.  So far as labelling of cans and jars is concerned, Abrabond has a solution for hot and dry substrates up to 85 degrees C.
